Week 23, 2013: I’m a Creeper

It’s becoming more and more difficult to find motivation to explore and take photos…of Prague. Again. We’ve been here for ten months and I know more about Prague than people who have lived here for years. Prague is beautiful, cultural, lovely, etc. etc. BUT there is only so much to do and see when you don’t have any money…
_DSC0510And that’s another thing. We (obviously) haven’t traveled anywhere other than Vienna (and that was only because it was required for us to travel to visit the embassy there for our visa applications)…mainly due to an extreme lack of funds.
_DSC0523So, I’ve been resigned to exploring the residential areas of Prague and photographing there which is just creepy. So, now I’m a weird foreign creeper. Yay.

  1. The irony:
When you are young you have the time, but no money.
When you are older you have the money, but no time.
Seriously: Why are the days just flying by?

Seriously again #2. Dad and I would put loose (ALL) our loose change in a large container…once in a while put a buck or a five…you would be AMAZED how much $$$ accumulates.

Seriously again #3. Maybe start a psuedo Christmas club. Put $5- from each of you away a week. That’s $40 a month. After 1/4 or 1/2 year go on a trip. 🙂

  2. Mere!- I totally remember that jar!- I think we may take up that idea. Will thinks I am the queen of change. ‘Tis true………

    1. Haha. I remember that jar, too. It was a teddy bear container from when we use to buy animal crackers. 🙂 Unfortunately, the Czechs LOVE LOVE LOVE exact change. But we have our own jar full of loose change, too! Great ideas! 🙂 Thanks!
